Temporal experience and the philosophy of mind

First Meeting: Wednesday November 15, 17:30 – 19:00

Reading:  Ian Phillips, ‘The significance of temporal experience’ (this is the introduction to his new edited collection on the philosophy of temporal experience, and is attached to this email)

Where: The Edelstein Center, Levi Building, 3rd floor, Givat Ram

The Edelstein Centre for the History and Philosophy of Science, Technology, and Medicine are holding a reading group on temporal experience, from both the philosophical and empirical perspectives. We will meet every other week to discuss recent work in this area.

We hope this will be of interest to people working in the philosophy of time and related areas, as well as those working on the psychology of temporal experience. We will decide on the future readings at the first meeting.

If you have any questions, or if you are interested but can’t make the first meeting, please email georgie.statham@gmail.com.

All are invited!
